How do I go about getting recruited by colleges for basketball?

I'm a pretty good player, just not a phenom by any means. I'm a sophomore in highschool right now and I think I could play basketball in college. What do I do to get schools to notice me?How do I go about getting recruited by colleges for basketball?
Talk to your athletic director and guidence counselor about this. After that think about what colleges you think might realistic be interested in you and start visiting them. See if you can talk to any members of the basketball coaching staff. Also make yourself a highlight tape of your best moments from your high school games that you can send to colleges to show what you have to offer to their program.

Be 7 feet tall.
Now is the time to start a personal achievement chart. You need to include such things as academic scores, community service you have done, your history of sports, and your coach should have alot of information. You also need to write all kinds of colleges telling them to come watch you play!!!!!How do I go about getting recruited by colleges for basketball?
I think breaking a lot of records or doing some pretty crazy stuff will get you noticed in high school. Otherwise, you're going to have to contact schools that you're interested in first.
Get awards from your team, like MVP, or at least score lots of points. Take your team to state or nationals.

But. That might not happen.

You can still get sports scholarships, etc., by just applying to schools. Be sure to put your awards and such on your application.
Tell your coach to make tapes of your best highlights and go to camps that are for special colleges....

Also have a good GPA..and

light it up during season...
