Go to www.eastbay.com, and search basketball shoes. Don't get the first ones that pop up (T-mac 6s, KG's, Kobe's), those shoes are usually the worst because they are really heavy. When buying your shoe, eastbay gives you the shoe's weight, and the try to buy a shoe that is under 15.5-16 ounces. 14 oz. is considered light and great. Also, make sure the grip of the shoe is good and that it is a high top (less likely to sprain ankle), where is covers your ankle.
