Why do Rappers and Basketball players like to cover their whole body up with tattoos?

It looks ridiculous, if they weren't rappers and basketball players how would they get a job?? I understand 1 or 2 reasonable tattoos, but they cover their whole body with useless nonsense.Why do Rappers and Basketball players like to cover their whole body up with tattoos?
Usually most athlete and rapers have poor education.

Because they can afford it, and perhaps you can't. They make way more money than you will ever see in a lifetime. I think tattoo's on guys are sexy. There are many exceptions also. Not all rappers, or basketball players have tattoos.

Yeah, it does look ridiculous. One, two, or three looks ok, but they look so stupid with all that crap on them. When they're not in the limelight anymore they will learn their lesson.Why do Rappers and Basketball players like to cover their whole body up with tattoos?
A lot of white people get tattoos like that too. Like especially rocker/motorcycle guys. I can bet there's a higher percentage of whites with tattoos than blacks.
