How much does it cost to build an indoor basketball court?

How much does it cost to build a regulation indoor basketball court. I live in Los Angeles, CA, and I have an empty plot of land in my back yard. I would need everything, including walls, ceiling, electricity and hardwood flooring.|||Regulation courts are in a room about 100' x 86' and require maple tongue and groove over "sleepers" and will take 4 or more coats of urethane after the aclimation and sanding. Walls and ceiling should be AT LEAST12' high and will need a support system to eliminate pilars. Figure about $100. per sq ft .

I just submitted a gymnasium here in Texas at 28000 sq. ft. complete and it ran $2,400,000. as a renovation.|||Unless you are a pro, don't bother. A huge empty space sucks up a lot of energy bills. I started building one and eventually took good advice from family and friends and built a green house. Unless the nearest good court is miles away, don't build one.|||ask whoever is building that for you... I can only give you as good as an estimate but the person who actually can build it for you will give you an exact price.
