I have played basketball for 2 years, and I quit this year (my freshman year) to play winter volleyball, and I am not going to be doing winter volleyball again and I really miss basketball so I want to go back. I am really out of practice so what are some things i could do to get back up to my normal level? Besides camps, and actually playing which I will already be doing. Thanks! Any answers are welcome.|||go to park or gym every day and work on shooting and running|||Shoot, shoot, shoot. Try and get to a goal as often as you can. If you can't, doing things like dribbling and passing against a wall can also help. If your team has a playbook, you can try to get a leg up by studying and memorizing plays.
You can also watch basketball and learn more about the game. There are plenty of things you can do.|||depends on your position if you are a guard work on shooting and dribbling and most important conditioning simply running a mile every day will help|||Practice and Practice shooting, dribbling, lay ups and running. Remember it's ALL about REPETITION.
