How would you describe the spatial organization of a basketball game?

I have to write a paper about formal and informal norms in an public enviroment, so I am writing about a basketball game. One question I have to answer is " descibe the spatial organization of the enviroment" Im so clueless on how to answer this.|||One aspect that you could elaborate on is the different types of defenses, such as zone and man to man, in terms of how the defender must place himself on the court for optimal defensive tactics.





You could also talk about the strategy used in the NBA, which doesn't allow zone defenses, to isolate a star player against one opponent by spreading out the other four members of the team. The defenders must follow their assigned opponents, so they essentially cannot help defend against the star player working one on one with just one defender to beat.
