What is the difference between height and length in basketball?

In Basketball, commentators always talking about a guy having good length. Wouldnt that also mean that the player has good size? Or does it mean that the player is tall and has long arms?|||Height= Regular height, such as 6'7", but length (wingspan) is arm length. Length is always talked about by commentators because having long arms helps to block shots, rebound, finish around the rim, and to take the ball away from the ball-handler.|||long arms definitely. unless the commentator is gay and could be thinking different length.
